Catalog Update: Abraham Benisch
This week has been dedicated to adding the works of Abraham Benisch to the VJWP. Unlike some of our authors, Benisch is well-known enough to have a Wikipedia page. Bensich wrote on Judaism, philosophy, and Jewish texts.
Benisch is the author of several works that now appear full-text on the VJWP, including the Jewish School & Family Bible. Along with Gideon Brecher and Leopold Dukes, Benisch wrote a book of essays on Maimonides called Maimonides &c. Additionally, he wrote:
- Judaism Surveyed: Being a Sketch of the Rise and Development of Judaism, from Moses to Our Days, in a Series of Five Lectures, etc.
- The Pentateuch and the Haftorah
